Position: DB2 Administration

Roles and Responsibilities:
Ø Any Graduate with 6-10 years in IT Domain as Database Administrator.
Ø Should have strong knowledge in Omni Plus & Omni Trade.
Ø DB2 Database Administration, implementation, and maintenance.
Ø Enforce environment standards like object naming, security, backup and recovery and database administration.
Ø Strong working knowledge of the DB2 Utility suite.
Ø Ensure 24/7 availability and performance of application databases, including on-call support.
Ø Resolve database performance, capacity and other database related issues.
Ø Manage database backup and recovery.
Ø Prepare, maintain and execute disaster recovery plans.
Ø Troubleshoot application database issues.
Ø Oversee, and optimize all database maintenance (i.e. update statistics, etc) and backup processes.
Ø Understanding of ITIL Change/Incident management.
Location: Bangalore, India (On-Site)
Remuneration: Not a constraint for the right candidate.
