Year of experience: 4+ years Requirements:Key Result Areas include:Be a key player in managing the complex data systems deployed globally in AWS environmentLead and participate in designing and implementing the database solutions in Cloud environment. The databases include MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, ElasticSearch and Data LakesBuild and manage production, QA and development environments in AWS and GCP clouds.Maintain correct configurations and parameters to ensure proper database performanceEnsure adequate storage capacity, system resources, archiving and backups.Work closely with development teams to optimize queries during SDLC phase and in production environmentWork with security team on Implementing security processes and controlsWork closely with our developers to troubleshoot application and infrastructure issuesParticipation in the selection and implementation of new tools and technologies to support new product initiativesBe part of 24/7 on-call support and troubleshoot production issues as requiredManage assigned tasks in JIRA and communicate issues and status to stakeholders you Are:A driven team player, collaborator, and relationship builder whose infectious can-do attitude inspires others and encourages great performance in a fast-moving environment.Results orientated, motivated by success.Self-motivated: You can work with a minimum of supervision and be capable of strategically prioritizing multiple tasks in a proactive manner.What you need:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related subject.4+ years of proven experience as a Database administrator in a cloud environmentExcellent knowledge of data backups, recovery, data security and SQL queries optimization.Familiarity with database design, documentation and codingExperience with common data systems like MySQL PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, MongoDBExcellent understanding of system availability, security and performance management.Experience working in AWS cloud environment.Excellent troubleshooting skills and desire to resolve system issuesBenefits:An opportunity to get ahead in your career by building a great and exciting portfolio that helps others get ahead in theirs.
