• Strong experience working on Postgres database in the production environment.
• DBA will be supporting the customer on a 24x7 support.
• Should have hand-on experience on Postgres user management, architecture and maintenance.
• Should have worked on security implementation for Postgres database.
• Have worked on maintenance tasks and strong hands on for Backup and Recovery.
• Must have database related issue troubleshooting / analytical skills for performance tuning
• Should have good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, customer facing and handling skills is a mandate.
• Database major version upgrade, replication hands on experience is a must.
• Database connection pooler like pgBouncer, pgPool, etc. experience is required.
• On-Premise to Cloud DB migration, SCT, DMS, DMA, etc. experience is a must.
• Cross DB migration experience will be preferred and can be a deciding factor.
