Job Description
Skill- Database administrator Experience-5-8 yrs Location- Pune Essential Job Functions: . 1. Research, design and implement new database systems based upon customer requirements. 2. Evaluate new database software features and related products, identifying improvement areas to create a more effective and efficient database system. 3. Define logical attributes and design complex data structures to accommodate database production, storage, maintenance and accessibility, and to enhance performance. 4. Coordinate with peers to determine impact of database changes on other IT and business systems. 5. Perform general technical trouble shooting to resolve database performance and/or capacity issues. 6. Monitor database performance optimizing the platform through application tuning. 7. Setup and maintain documentation and standards related to database design and operations. 8. Evaluate suggested new hardware and software configurations ensuring databases and applications unitizing database follow best practices. +. Complete on call and after standard business hours work as required... Excellent oral and written communication skills (English). Previous relevant Windows-based computer and SQL database experience is required. Experience with performance tuning is required. Hybrid mode of working: minimum 3 days in the office Shift timings: 7 AM â€' 7 PM US CT.
