As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, securing, and optimizing our databases to ensure seamless performance, data integrity, and availability.
What you’ll do
Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases.
Implement and manage database security, including user roles and permissions.
Perform regular database backups and recovery procedures.
Optimize and tune SQL queries to improve performance.
Plan and execute database upgrades and migrations.
Develop and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions.
Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues and provide technical support.
Ensure data integrity and implement best practices for database management.

What you’ve got
A post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field, plus two or more years of related experience as a SQL Server DBA or similar role.
Strong knowledge of SQL Server database architecture and management.
Proficiency in SQL and T-SQL programming.
Experience with database backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
Familiarity with SQL Server tools (e.g., SQL Server Management Studio, Profiler, etc.).
Strong communication and presentation skills
Familiarity with the Snowflake cloud database platform would be an asset.
