Job Description
Position Name : SQL Server DBA (Operations) Location : Bangalore/Pune/Noida Shift Timings : US shift. (5.30 PM to 2.30 AM IST) Exp : Min 7 Years • 7 + years' experience in database development, and supporting physical and logical Microsoft SQL databases, analyzing functional specifications, designing, documenting, and developing technical specifications • Min 4+ years production-level experience exporting & importing data, data conversion & migration, creating database objects, performance tuning, analyzing SQL code, debugging performance problems • Advanced T-SQL & PL/SQL programming skills, and administrating and supporting MS SQL Server 2012, 2016 & 2026 infrastructures in large-scale federal, provincial, or territorial government departments and/or agencies environment in Windows 2012/2016 . Knowledge of PowerShell scripting. • Microsoft Azure, Azure SQL Database (Singleton, Hyperscale, Managed Instance, PAAS, IAAS), Azure Key Vault, Blob Storage, Azure file Storage, Azure Monitoring Tools. Understanding of the Microsoft Azure/IaaS required. Skill • Extensive knowledge of SQL and SQL server tools • Experience in Database Performance, Development and Maintenance • In-depth understanding of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring requirements • Familiarity with relational and dimensional data modelling • Extensive knowledge in database design, implementation, and conversion • Knowledge of PowerShell and Unix shell scripting • Experience with SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS • A solid mathematics and statistical skills • Outstanding writing and verbal communication abilities • Meticulous attention to detail • MCSE/MCSA certificates preferred • Working knowledge of Linux and Windows Server infrastructures • Extensive knowledge of database technologies (MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL Oracle, MongoDB) • Prior experience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure)
