Their main goal is to ensure the availability and consistent performance of various corporate applications. Job Description & Responsibilities:Manages Sybase Server databasesConfigures and maintains database servers and processesMonitors system’s health and performanceEnsures high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and securityAnalyzes, solves, and corrects issues in real timeProvides suggestions for solutionsAssists developers with query tuning and schema refinementPerforms scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hoursMigrate Sybase databases to other RDBMS platform (Oracle is preferred)Experience Required:3-5 yearsEducation and Training Required:Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university in Computer Science or MISPrimary Skills:Oracle/Sybase; OS 2005 - 2026
