Position Qualification Summary
Your work is CRITICAL to BluJay Solutions(Now part of E2open) and our customers. The DBA sits in the background, is meticulous in their work, loves responsibility and in the end, understands that they are good at what they do because they know they are keeping the shop open. Our Development teams rely on your ability to take care of and maintain the database as well as understand their processes and support them you are linked to our developers. Key Accountabilities
• Be proficient in structured query language
• Be proficient in tuning individual queries, database applications, and optimizing databases for performance
• Organize and format data for efficient query and storage processes
• Coordinate database architecture changes with Development
• Monitoring and Health Checks
• Non-Production/Production Break/Fix Resolution
• Non-Production/Production Database Refresh
• Database backup and restore
• Be part of shifts that run 24 x 7 x 365
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation
• Proficient experience with one of the following database platforms - Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL

• Experience with pre and post code release tuning
• Experience with database monitoring tools

• Experience with OS/database integration

Qualifications
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years supporting database implementations
• Commitment to customer service
• Strong problem solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Project status and reporting
• Responsible and accountable for meeting deadlines
• Follows information technology best practice standards
• Develops and maintains current, personal knowledge and skills on industry and professional trends and activities
