Empower clients with metadata-based analysis, movement, management and content awareness for all unstructured data assets
Deliver on existing SLA’s while improving existing CAPEX and OPEX unstructured data budgets
Eliminate file type, storage or Cloud vendor lock-in with heterogeneous data movement, on-premise, on-premise to cloud or cloud to cloud
Provide a NEW level of content insights to protect clients from unknown data exposure risks (GRC, PII, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.)

Role
As the Database Architect you will be responsible for designing the data layer of our new analytics platform and moving us to a new technology stack. You will design data patterns for better organization of the information that is collected across our entire Product Suite.

Responsibilities
Develop appropriate strategies and architectures for all our data needs across the entire Data Dynamics Product Suite
Identify key data items within this strategy, develop optimal tag structures for collecting and analyzing these data items with the goal of providing maximal insights
Assist the rest of the Software Development team in the implementation of these strategies within our platforms
Analyze data trends to ensure and optimize the validity and reliability of these designs
Create proof of concepts that can be leveraged across current and future releases
Continuously innovate and strategize on making improving our data performance and resilience
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree, or the equivalent, in a specific specialty such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
Minimum of 12 years’ experience in Data Engineering
Demonstrated experience architecting, implementing, and administrating an analytics platform using Azure Data Factory, Elasticsearch, SQL, SSAS, and other relevant technologies
Strong database designing, DB modeling and DB management experience
Hands on proficiency in SQL and NoSQL
Experience with new databases like Elastic, Redis, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Amazon Redshift or similar
Familiarity with data processing platform like Apache Storm, Spark, Kafka, Flink
Experience in data analysis, predictive modeling, and data mining techniques
Up to date on the latest industry trends, able to articulate trends and potential clearly and confidently
Excellent verbal and written communication skill
Strong understanding and practical application of design patterns and refactoring techniques
Demonstrated history of delivering mission critical applications to production
Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience with the usages of Star and Snowflake schemas to model warehouses
Strong data governance and data security skills is a plus
Experience with Hadoop Ecosystem to build a Big Data environment
Exposure to data analytics and visualization is preferable but not mandatory; experience establishing data lineage across multiple domain systems is preferable
