As a Database Developer, you will be crucial in designing, developing, and maintaining efficient and secure databases that support an organization's data management needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, data analysts, and system administrators, to ensure data integrity, performance, and reliability. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Requirements:
Must be able to read, write and modify complex SQL queries.
Proven experience working as a Database Developer or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge and proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, relational database, and Data Warehouse management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, BigQuery, etc.).
Familiarity with data modeling and database design principles.
Basic understanding of performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting common database issues.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within cross-functional teams.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Skills:
Good understanding of, or preferably ITIL Foundation certified. Database certifications are a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, customer focus, and ability to work with both technical and non-technical people.
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking in resolving problems and documenting solutions.
Ability to work proactively, independently, and as part of a team, supporting other team members when required.
