Risk Technology
Risk Technology supports the aggregation and monitoring of risks across all global business and products. We own cross-asset applications and services to support and enable risk management consolidation, calculation, analysis and reporting, federal marking, model inventory control, limit setting, and frameworks monitoring. In addition, these services are used to meet global regulatory requirements.
Software Engineering
This is Director position that develops and maintains software solutions that support business needs.

What You’ll Do In The Role
Design & develop innovative, reliable solutions using latest technology architecture
Take ownership of the technology platforms
Drive the modernization and agile agenda
Collaborate and understand the needs and problems of our business lines3 to 7 years of post-academic work experience with Java
A good knowledge of Unix/Linux platform and networking
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
What You’ll Bring To The Role
Experience working with the Spring framework
Experience developing client-server, distributed, real-time, performance-critical, highly available, or large-scale systems
Experience building real time applications in Multithreading for a Unix/Linux platform
2 to 3 years of experience with the development of UI using Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, jQuery
Experience working with Source Code Management solutions like (ex. Git, Perforce, CVS)
Proficiency with Enterprise level database (DB2 /Snowflake / NoSQL MongoDB) and SQL
Problem solving/Mathematical/Analytical
Version control (e.g. Perforce, Git)
Experience in either IntelliJ or Eclipse IDE
Experience testing software (e.g. Unit testing, using frameworks, performance testing/ tuning)Experience debugging or performing issue diagnosis
Nice to have
Exposure to Investment management and Risk Management businesses
Experience with workflow technologies
Experience using Power BI and data analysis technologies
Experience using Python/ Jupyter notebooks
