Job Description
• Maintain database collections and related data on MongoDB Atlas on Azure cloud
• Monitor the overall health parameters of the clusters like CPU Utilization, Memory utilization, Operation Execution times, Replication lag, load balancing of data and queries and identify the stress areas
• Be able to trace the stress areas back to the queries causing them, pro-actively profile such queries and suggest improvements
• Be able to support deployment of data elements - collections and data - to the database, after ensuring proper approvals
• Good experience in upgrading and migrating various versions of MongoDB and on various platforms
• Good experience on advanced queries, query conditionals and aggregation framework
• Participate in scalability testing to ensure a highly responsive database
• In depth understanding of HA and DR strategies with reference to MongoDB
• Experience in Mongo utilities like mongostat, mongotop, mongoperf, mongodump and mongorestore etc
