Job Responsibilities:
The candidate would be responsible Working with various application teams on Oracle issues as well as In other database also. This includes performance tuning, database design & modeling and PL/SQL development work and Production issue.
The candidate will also be involved in enterprise level database design and modeling work.
Candidate will be involved PL/SQL development for high demand Datawarehouse/OLTP/reporting applications.
Hands-on experience in developing and managing enterprise wide BI Development encompassing Database Design, Data warehousing, ETL, BI Development working with cross-functional teams.
Should be able to debug application code and tuned it written in other DB platform like SQL Server, AWS Redshift for high demand OLTP/Reporting applications.
Candidate will be involved in Scripting using Shell scripting, Python
Coordinate with all the stack holders to understand the requirement and develop applications with strong focus on performance.
Experience in leading and owning the responsibilities of a single or multiple projects with the overall team size of 3 or more
Provide the required technical guidance & support to the team
Ability to handle and deliver the multiple small to medium projects under difficult situations and tight deadline
Good exposure to the system design, system integration, project planning and estimation techniques
Positive attitude, real passion for strong work ethic, ability to execute independently yet also maintain a strong team orientation
Strong analytic, debugging, problem solving and collaborative skills

Experience / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with around 10+ years of expertise in Oracle/PLSQL development , Database design and modelling(Logical and Physical) and performance tuning.
Very strong in Performance tuning and Database design , Writing Advance SQL Query
Exposure to Other Database like Sybase, SQL-server, AWS Redshift is an added advantage
Exposure to cloud technology like AWS
Sound experience in development and support areas in a large-scale world-class application especially in the Finance Industry
Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to liaise with all the stake holder
Strong documentation and communication skills
High standard of quality, attention to detail and organizational aptitude.
Willingness to learn new technical and finance skills.
Desire and ability to learn quickly
Knowledge of Capital markets/Asset Classes is an added advantage.
