We are seeking senior database developer having excellent command over MS SQL and MySQL for create customize development and maintaining our product. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop databases, tables and other related objects, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different modules. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.
Responsibilities
Design stable, reliable and effective databases
Optimize and maintain legacy systems
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
Modify databases according to requests and perform tests
Solve database usage issues and malfunctions
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices
Gather user requirements and identify new features
Develop technical and training manuals
Provide data management support to users
In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security and monitoring)
Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements
Research and suggest new database products, services and protocols
Skills And Qualifications
2+ years hands on experience developing mid to large scale applications using MS SQL 2008 or higher. Having experience working with MySQL will be added advantage.
Must be ready work with different databases like SQL, MySQL, Postgres etc. Experience working with cloud will be great added on.
Experience working with compliance standards will make huge difference.
Excellent written and verbal communication
Flexible, team player, "get-it-done" personality
Ability to understand front-end users requirements and a problem-solving attitude
Ability to organize and plan work independently
Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams
