Your apps will benefit from container-granular storage, disaster recovery, data security, multi-cloud migrations and more.
Pure Storage Acquired Portworx in October 2020, Creating the Industry's Most Complete Kubernetes Data Services Platform for Cloud Native Applications. This acquisition represents Pure’s largest to date and our deeper expansion into the fast-growing market for multi-cloud data services to support Kubernetes and containers.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL...
Build core of database as a service platform to manage the complete life-cycle of data intensive applications in a Kubernetes cluster. This would include not just basic installation, but day-2 operations like metrics, backups, migrations, autopilot capabilities, etc.
What You’ll Need To Bring To This Role...
• Background in database administration, compute infrastructure, storage infrastructure, and container ecosystems that run on-premise and in the cloud.
• Technical expertise with one or more data services including Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, Elastic, Kafka, or Cassandra.
• Domain expertise in two or more of the following key areas: Kubernetes, OpenShift, DBA experience in a production environment, DBA architecture experience, Storage infrastructure.
• Software development experience.
• Candidate must have the passion and strong interest in learning new technologies.
• Strong can do attitude, focus on innovation and customer centric approach.
