Role Overview
InfoVision is looking for an engineer proficient with design, development and maintenance, and has experience working across projects and different internal systems. This position- Database Engineer is for the Application Development team.
This position is open for the Bangalore location, and we are looking for candidates who can join us within 15 days or at the earliest.
About the Role
1. Should have experience in a production database environment.
2. Should have Experience with at least 3 databases: Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, DynamoDB 3. Should have experience working in a cloud environment.
4. Should have Experience Working with different OS like Linux / AIX Windows.
5. Verify daily backups across Oracle & RDS environments.
6. Restart jobs / initiate backups if any failures.
7. User management.
8. Script executions and incidents related to databases.
+. Monitor the Grafana Dashboards for any changes / unusual activities.
10. Work on DB copy-down requests.
11. Ensure Oracle Data guard standby is in sync with the primary.
12. Nice to have AWS RDS /Terraform/Ansible/Oracle Dataguard/PowerBi/Snowflake
