Key Responsibilities:
• Administer databases including Azure SQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
• Lead and mentor a team of Data Engineers, BI developers, and Data Integration specialists to foster a collaborative work environment.
• Develop and implement data models that support business processes and analytics needs.
• Establish and enforce data governance policies and best practices to ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance.
• Oversee data integration processes to ensure seamless data flow across various systems and platforms.
• Collaborate with IT, business units, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and database optimization to meet business demands.
• Ensure disaster recovery and backup procedures are in place and tested regularly.
• Provide technical guidance and support for complex data-related projects.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in database administration and data management.
• Proven experience managing and leading teams of data professionals.
• Expertise in Azure SQL, MS SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL databases.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• In-depth understanding of data governance principles and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
