We are seeking a seasoned database professional with extensive experience in designing, developing, and managing Azure SQL databases.
Job Description:
• Azure SQL Database expertise
• Azure Parallel Data Warehouse
• Database Replication (Transactional, Merge, Snapshot)
• Linked Server configuration and maintenance
• Performance tuning for SQL Server and Azure SQL environments
• Azure SQL Server performance monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• T-SQL development skills
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or ETL tool familiarity
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience as an SQL Developer, Database Developer, or similar role
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Services, and Azure Parallel Data Warehouse (PDW)
• In-depth knowledge of SQL Server Replication
• Expertise in configuring and maintaining Linked Servers
• Strong performance tuning skills for SQL Server and Azure SQL environments
• Experience with Azure SQL Server performance monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Strong understanding of T-SQL for developing stored procedures, triggers, and complex queries
• Familiarity with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or other ETL tools for data migration and transformation
• Knowledge of Azure Active Directory integration with databases and cloud security best practices
