Job Description
We are looking to add a Database Developer to our team. This person would closely work with
Database Lead for maintaining and supporting extract-transform-load (ETL solutions. The person
must be an experienced person capable of analyzing and defining database systems, assists in
making architecture and design decisions, create detailed database designs, develop SQL
programs/ objects. The ETL Developer will work side-by-side with business stakeholders, business
analysts, and developers to understand data system requirements and implement ETL flows.
Responsible to develop ETL processes for the database and work alongside Database Lead
to design and implement schema changes.
− Working with the Data and Analytics team, you’ll develop SSIS package and manage the data
lifecycle for data imports
− You’ll participate in Sprint and Scrum activities.
− Document defects from code reviews and testing.
− Design and analyzed the SQL Server database and involved in gathering the user
requirements. Create database objects like Tables, Indexes, Stored Procedures, Views, User
Defined Functions, Cursors and Triggers.
− Define Check constraints, Business Rules, Indexes, and Views.
− Troubleshooting DB performance issue and implementing necessary DB changes and
implemented processes to ensure Optimal Query Performance.
− Coordinate with the front-end developer to put in the business rules. Created procedure to
check some of the rules at the backend at the time of entering data
Proven ETL and SSIS experience with large datasets.
− Excellent SQL Server and database design skills
− Should have ability to both write good T-SQL code, and to assist other developers in tuning
their T-SQL statements. Understand the difference between T-SQL that just returns the
results asked for and good T-SQL.
− Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with superb attention to detail.
− Proactive and innovative, you must also have the ability to work under pressure within a fast-
paced, ever-changing environment.
− Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to understand new
information domains
− Able to successfully complete tasks with limited supervision.
− Must be able to manage and thrive in a virtual, global, and fast paced environment
