Mandatory Skills : DB Administrator- Goldengate +Oracle DBA
Good to have
24/7 support of production database services to ensure the highest standards of availability, resilience, integrity, security and performance required by our business systems.
2) Design, development and administration of Very large (Greater than 1 Terabyte) Production Oracle databases.
3) Setup , Upgrade,Maintain and apply application DB patches on Developement, Test and production Environment.
4) Prefer to have knowledge of Performance tuning of SQLs.
5) Management and maintenance of back-ups & recovery procedures. Good Knoweldge of Recovery Scenarios and configuration of Backup using RMAN and BCV/Flash copy
6) Installation and maintenance of database server, replication and client environments.
7) Provision of support and assistance to development team in the design, development, testing, tuning and implementation of database applications
Provisioning of (database) development and testing environments.
8) Good Knowledge of Oracle Memory and Physical Architecture, Data Dictionary and Packages.
+) Knowledge of writing Shell or perl scripting for automation of Oracle Database Administration tasks.
10) Knowledge of Unix plus understanding of Unix administration concepts like RAID, Semaphores, OS Memory Management.
11) Prefer to have knowledge of Replication technologies like Goldengate and cluster technology like RAC
12) Prefer to have working knowledge of other RDBMS also like SQL-Server.
13) Knowledge of Administration and Tuning Tools like Toad, Precise
14) Prefer to have Knowledge of Telecom Domain or past experience in amdocs technologes
15) Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
16) Monitoring different databases, addressing the alerts and taking necessary steps.
17) Good knowledge of Golden gate
