About this opportunity
Database Developer is responsible for the design, programming, construction, and implementation of new databases, as well as modifying existing databases for platform updates and changes in user needs.
What you will do
• Development of high-quality data integration/ingestion solutions.
• Review and interpret ongoing business requirements.
• Develop automation scripts & executables (.exe) using Microsoft .Net to consume Rest API or using Selenium for tools integration & data ingestion.
• Develop Microsoft SQL procedures and Microsoft SQL scripts for data migration and data integration and Capture logs (success & error) using automated scripts.
• Investigate exceptions about data anomalies with Data interrogation.
• Analyse existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
• Ensure all development is detailed so it can be referred to, updated, shared, and is fit for purpose
• Actively participate in knowledge sharing across the department
• Take responsibility for our Data Integration project tasks (when assigned) and deliver in a timely manner with an excellent data quality
• Assist with ServiceDesk ticket queues to resolve user queries
• Work with users to determine detailed, and accurate requirements
• Ensure all issues and service requests are accurately recorded in the IT ServiceDesk system and Change management process is followed!
• Other duties as are within the scope and spirit of the job and the title of the position that may arise from time to time or as required by management
You will bring
• Min 5 years of experience on Database Development Must have skill is .Net, API consumption to export/import data, Selenium and Azure Data Factory.
• At least 3-5 years of experiences in writing scripts in Microsoft .Net to work around Rest API consumption & Windows - Browser automation and SQL Server!
