Design and Setup High Availability Database Replication and Infrastructure
More than 7 years of experience in DB2 Database administration
In Depth understanding of DB2 Database technology, standard patterns, and best practices
Extensive DB2 Database performance tuning experience
Deep knowledge of industry-standard, enterprise-class best practices for a large database environment
Good understanding of Linux/VM platform
Deep understanding of HA, DR Database and storage technologies as they relate to DB2
Experience implementing, supporting and auditing database security in DB2
Experience with Unix/Linux OS platform and Unix Shell/Perl scripting and automation
Responsibilities
Schedule: Standard 40 Hours
DB2 database design, including architecture, installation procedures, build and configuration standards
Database Administration and troubleshooting of database issues, including production performance and outage scenarios
Develop database patch/version upgrade roadmap, scalable deployment automation
Database maintenance automation using Ansible, SHELL, python
Execute Database Upgrades, resolve upgrade related issues
Provide on-call support on rotation as per schedules
