Role- DBA Administrator.
Experience-5+ yrs
Location-Remote
• 5+ years of experience as production DBA.
• 4+ years of experience as SQL Developer.
• Experience in Providing operations support for mission-critical, high availability Database systems.
• Extensive Experience in Install, configure, upgrade, monitor, maintain and manage multiple MS SQL
Server (Oracle would be an added advantage) databases across multiple Data Centers.
• Experience in Implementing/configuring, maintaining/monitoring SQL and database replication in multi-
server/datacenter environments.
• Experience in Design and configure AlwaysOn Availability Group.
• Must have Redgate SQL Monitor or other SQL monitoring tools experience and extensive experience in
monitoring systems for performance, stability and capacity.
• Must have experience with database backups and remote disaster recovery.
• Must have experience implementing and maintaining database security.
• Must have experience in establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and procedures.
• Proven experience in using T-SQL, query optimization, indexes, index management and statistics.
• Experience in High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for MSSQL Server including log shipping and clustering.
• Experience working with Windows server, including Failover clustering and Active Directory.
• Experience with Reporting and Analysis Services and working with BCP.
• Experience in Root cause analysis of production-related database issues.
• Experience in Integrating third party software and databases with corporate databases.
• Ability to create and manage SSIS and SSRS packages.
• Ability to work with technical and non-technical people.
• Ability to review Data Schema changes, table changes, perform code review and provide consultation to development teams.
• Ability to review, design, and develop data models in conjunction with the application development teams.
• Ability to Assist writing complex stored procedures.
• Ability to detect and troubleshoot SQL Server related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and other resource contention.
• Excellent Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
