What can you tell your friends when they ask you what you do?
As the database administrator in the OPS group, you need to keep track of production database performance and ensure databases are running with high performance and availability. You are responsible for monitoring and fixing database problems while ensuring minimal impact on the business. You will be involved in all architecture reviews and manage the overall strategy and process related to RDBMS.
To ensure we execute on our values we are looking for someone who has a passion for:
• Build, deploy, configure, and maintain Snowflake/PostgreSQL databases
• Provide the organization with clear, detailed, and high-value database solutions
• Diagnose and troubleshoot database performance and scalability issues
• Design and implement deployment, backup, and replication scenarios
• Propose and implement high-availability solutions
• Manage snowflake platform security to align with company security policy
You should recognize yourself in the following…
• At least 4 years experience in a DBA role and fluent in SQL
• At least 2 years of database domain knowledge from Snowflake, Postgresql, or Mysql
• At least 2 years of production DB experience
• Experience with backup and replication solutions such as streaming replication and logical replication
• AWS operation experience
• Experience in scripting using Shell/Python/Ruby is a plus
• Experience in NoSQL DB operations like (MongoDB, and DynamoDB) is a big plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

We are hiring for our engineering team at our data.ai India subsidiary entity, which is in the process of getting established . As we are awaiting approval from the Indian government, they shall be interim employees at Innova Solutions who is our Global Employer of Record
