The Middle Market team within our Corporate and Institutional Banking group is dedicated to delivering innovated capital solutions to institutional, corporate and private equity clients. We are a corporate and leveraged finance team providing growth and acquisition finance to Australian companies to support their strategic goals. The Originations function is responsible for the identification and execution of new client relationships.

What role will you play?
In this dynamic and multifaceted position, you will be responsible for managing the execution of financing transactions from inception to completion. You will take ownership of all aspects of a transaction, including conducting due diligence, structuring deals, financial modelling, and analysis. You will also prepare credit papers and work collaboratively with all stakeholders, while identifying and delivering ancillary products to clients.
You will work closely with senior leaders and relationship managers, gaining exposure to client engagement. Through strong lines of communication and analytical work, you will manage legal documentation, take ownership for project management and achieve timely outcomes.
What you offer
4 + years of experience in corporate banking, investment banking, leveraged finance, private equity, advisory, or similar roles
Strong analytical skills, both qualitative and quantitative, including the ability to develop and evaluate complex financial models and prepare comprehensive written risk assessments
Excellent communication abilities to effectively manage and deliver outcomes with both internal and external stakeholders
Experience in credit risk management processes and deliverables, including an understanding of relevant loan documentation
Exceptional attention to detail, coupled with strong project management skills and a focus on balancing risk and reward outcomes
A collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive and growth mindset.
