Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role for a Dean of Management at Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, located in Tiruchirappalli. The Dean will oversee academic, administrative, and strategic operations of the Management department. Responsibilities include curriculum development, fostering research and innovation, ensuring high-quality teaching standards, mentoring faculty and staff, managing departmental budgets, and representing the department in academic and administrative meetings. The Dean is also expected to spearhead outreach initiatives and establish collaborations with national and international institutions to enhance the department’s reputation.
Qualifications
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and administrative skills to manage academic and operational activities
• In-depth knowledge and expertise in management education, research, and curriculum design
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and team-building abilities to lead faculty and student development
• Proven experience in fostering collaborations, building networks, and representing the department in academic and professional forums
• PhD in Management with a strong academic and research background
• Years of progressive experience in academic leadership roles such as department head, director, or associate dean
• Commitment to ensuring diversity, equity, and inclusion within the institution
