Role Description The New Statesman Media Group is looking for a full-time Delegate Sales Executive to join our team. This is a hybrid role, implying that the role is located in Hyderabad but some work from home is acceptable. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling delegate places for our varied events and conferences, securing revenue from existing clients and developing new business. They will work closely with the events team to identify opportunities for growth, implement marketing campaigns and ensure that our delegate attendance targets are met. The Delegate Sales Executive will also create and maintain key client relationships, collating feedback and building a strong pipeline of future business. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in a sales-related role, with an emphasis on B2B or event sales. Solid understanding of the full sales process and experience in pitching and closing business deals. Ability to identify new business opportunities, develop a sales strategy and manage a sales pipeline. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and persuade others. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools, and the ability to compile and analyze data using Excel or similar tools. Highly motivated, with a proven track record of exceeding targets and KPIs. A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field,
