We are looking for excellence and a passion for food! We are seeking an individual who is committed to delivering to a high standard and possesses strong organisational and communication skills along with an excellent work ethic.
Our Service Deli and Seafood department are responsible for producing and supplying fresh & superior quality delicatessen products including meals, and seafood products to our customers.
As our Service Deli and Seafood Assistant you will be responsible for preparing, cooking and producing meals to enable a range of enticing and tasty meal options, including pizzas, sandwiches and salads reflecting our quality fresh and frozen Deli products that are available for sale to our customers. As well as displaying fresh fish, carrying out date checks and following foods safety standards.
Qualifications, experience, skills and attributes required for this role:
A passion for food and delighting customers.
Ability to ensure that all food is prepared, seasoned and cooked to Food Safety standards while maintaining quality.
Strong relationship builder, team player and problem solver.
Strong communication (verbal and written).
Maintaining standards and eye for detail.
Ability to work in a faced paced team environment.
Physically fit and healthy.
Experience in a similar retail environment will be an advantage.
