Live-in carer pay and benefits
Working as a live-in carer for Ashridge Home Care means you will receive the following benefits:
£800-£945 per week. One of the best rates of pay across the industry.
Including double pay on bank holidays.
A client happiness bonus of £5 a day based on client feedback and compliance following the probationary period.
Holiday pay to ensure that you can take a break.
Gain the highly accredited Care Certificate with extensive training and support throughout your career including NVQ Level 2 and 3.
Ongoing support through our friendly head office team whenever you need it, on the phone or in-person.
Generous Refer a Friend Scheme using the Care Friends app of up to £400 per friend referred.

What does the role of a live-in carer involve?
As a live-in carer, you will live with your client in their own home for a minimum of 2 weeks at a time. You will be a companion to them and support with various aspects of their daily routine, as well as working with colleagues and external agencies to provide a person-centred and holistic approach to client care.
This may include home help, personal care support, cooking, medication administration, support with organising and attending medical appointments and accompanying clients on outings.
Our vision is to enable people to continue to live independently within the comfort of their own home and help them to feel empowered to live the life that they wish to, feeling safe and happy.
What qualifications do you need to be a live-in carer?
To be a live in carer, you do not need to have professional experience or hold formal qualifications. Together, we will guide and support you to develop your skills and confidence in providing high quality care for clients with a variety of needs, from companionship to complex care.
We feel it is important to reward and support our team, and we have developed a friendly and nurturing working environment. You will have a dedicated care manager and the office team are always there at the end of the phone or when you visit the office. We want to help you progress in your role if you wish to and can support you to undertake higher learning and NVQs.

Salary: £27,400.00 per annum
We Are Looking For Applicants Who Have
Experience in a similar role
Excellent communication and people skills
An ability to organise and multi-task
Strong computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Excel, Dynamics AX
Attention to detail
Eligibility to live and work in the UK
A good standard of spoken English
Responsibilities Of The Role
Prepare relevant documentation for the dispatch of orders
Count and process collected money from drivers routes in a safe manner
Collect and provide accurate amounts of money in accordance with payment terms, and invoice adjustments from drivers
Report discrepancies immediately
Deal with day-to-day driver/helper queries
Liaise with other departments with day-to-day transport issues
Ensure drivers are following routes according to company rules and procedures
