Job Title: Delivery Driver
Pay Rate: $16.50 to $18 per hour
Reports to: Shift Supervisor
General Job Description: As a ******** boutique we serve a broad, dynamic and ever-growing demographic of people daily. Having friendly, professional and efficient Delivery Drivers is a must. A Delivery Driver is the face of the company; they set the tone for each visit. The Delivery Driver will pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules and is willing to work as part of the delivery team in order to ensure that the items are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct client.
Outline of Responsibilities:
21 yrs. of age, no felonies or drug related charges, clean driving record.
Drive vehicles to designated destinations for customer product deliveries.
Drive safely and deliver products within deadlines.
Delivers and supports Santa Cruz Naturals deliveries- includes the ability to deliver at both locations
Analyze delivery address, determine appropriate routes and maintain schedule.
Report any accidents or injuries to Supervisors immediately.
Perform vehicle inspection such as checking fluid level, battery life, tire pressure.
Notify supervisors about any major repairs and maintenances.
Work with support team to provide exceptional customer service and address customer concerns.
Perform vehicle inspection before and after each trip.
Adhere to company operating policies and procedures including a strict No Passengers policy.
Keeps accurate records of deliveries and customer authorization and ensure all documentation and payments are submitted to management on time.
Properly uses and maintains delivery equipment.
Drives safely and follow all local and state driving laws and rules of driving to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Keeps company vehicle clean and is ready to drive.
Communicates with customers to update them of time of deliveries if there have been issues or changes to their estimated time of arrival.
Maintains communication with management to be informed of any change of delivery, route or schedule.
Informs management of any obstructions to making safe, efficient deliveries on time.
Requests documentation to confirm identity and age.
Stays in communication by checking work chats, emails and message boards regularly
Maintains compliance with applicable local and state laws
Upholds corporate policies and procedures
Does not use ******** before work or during a break. Is never under the influence of ******** or any other substance while on site
Follow company dress code and presents professionally while at work
Maintain a clean and organized work environment; look for ways to stay productive
Maintain a positive attitude and a high-performance work ethic
Provide a safe and secure environment for client confidentiality
Support the street team's guerilla marketing campaigns
Any other tasks as required
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
2 years experience in customer service, sales, or related field.
A working knowledge of or curiosity about cannabis, its applications, effects, methods of use, and varying forms
Basic computer skills (PC& Mac) and knowledge of Word, Illustrator, Excel and Office 365
Able to work in a high stress environment and with a broad demographic of staff and clients
Capable of receiving direction and maintaining a high level of productivity
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Able to stand and speak to clients and staff without a break for several hours
Reliable transportation
No prior felonies

Pay: $16.50 - $1+.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
