Duties
Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and other commercial driving equipment, to transport goods to customer locations.
Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery schedules.
Provide friendly, professional customer service by greeting clients, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction upon delivery.
Verify delivery contents against orders and complete all necessary documentation accurately.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks before and after each shift.
Handle heavy lifting tasks with proper technique to prevent injury while moving goods within warehouses or customer sites.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered on routes.
Requirements
Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong understanding of route driving and load management.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission is highly desirable.
Ability to lift heavy items regularly and perform physical tasks such as moving goods using forklifts (certification preferred), pallet jacks, or manual effort.
Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, moving goods, and vehicle operation.
Familiarity with warehouse operations including load & unload processes is advantageous.
