Job Description
As the face of Stefs Pet Pantry on the road, you’ll provide excellent customer service while keeping to a schedule. Your routes will be pre-planned, and you’ll be fully briefed and supported by our dispatch team. Deliveries include doorstep drops and some direct handovers—so being polite, punctual and pet-friendly is a must!
Responsibilities
Load and unload your van at the Ilkley depot
Deliver frozen pet food safely and efficiently to customers’ homes
Follow pre-set routes across Yorkshire, North East & Greater Manchester
Use our delivery app to confirm successful drops
Maintain the cleanliness and condition of the vehicle
Communicate any issues or delays back to base
Provide friendly, helpful service to our customers and their pets
What You’ll Need
Full UK driving licence (clean or minor points considered)
Confidence driving a medium-sized van (manual transmission)
Good physical fitness – some lifting involved
Punctual, professional and calm under pressure
Flexible availability – especially short notice when sickness cover is required
Previous delivery experience
Shift Info
Holiday cover: minimum of 12 full weeks per year (dates arranged in advance)
Sickness cover: on-call availability appreciated—usually on the morning notice
Typical hours: start 6:00am, finish around 4-6pm depending on route length
