Delivery Driver

WLS are a fire and security company based in South London. We are currently looking for a dependable Delivery Driver to join the automated gate section of our business.

Duties

- Safely drive company vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.

- Load and unload items from the delivery vehicle

- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure accurate and prompt deliveries

- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks

- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all times

- Assist, when needed, on site both as an electricians mate and/or with groundworks.

- Help out, if and when needed, with ad-hoc tasks.

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role.

- Category C or C1 driving licence, allowing you to drive vehicles above 3.5 tonnes.

- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks

- Excellent communication skills

- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record

- Familiarity with local routes and areas

- Forklift licence (not a necessity)

- Experience with groundworks or as an electricians mate (not a necessity)

- Experience operating a Hiab Truck

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
