Fruits in the City has been successfully operating for over 14 years' and delivers premium fresh fruit boxes to workplaces across central Scotland.
Our clients include law firms, insurance brokers, call centres through to new start-ups. Many are well-known household names.
We are looking to recruit a part-time delivery driver to assist with deliveries in and around Edinburgh. Approx 4hrs per week.
Fully insured company van and work wear provided.
Leaving from our Granton – Edinburgh base.
Please note the role is part-time - starting at approx 4hrs per week.
DO NOT apply if you are looking for full-time hours.
What does the role involve?
· The position will involve quality checking our fruit boxes and baskets and ensuring customers receive the correct order.
· Loading your van and ensuring all fruit boxes and baskets are accounted for and loaded correctly to avoid damage.
· Delivering the fruit box/baskets to our clients as outlined on the delivery route and providing excellent customer care at all times.
· Ability to work well alongside other team members and independently.
Full training for the role provided (no delivery experience required).
Who we are looking for?
· An understanding of Edinburgh roads.
· Driving licence – no more than 3 points.
· Strong organisational skills – attention to detail is key.
· Physical fit and excellent work ethic.
· Be able to work on own initiative.
· Provide excellent customer and product care at all times.
· Someone who is looking for a part-time and varied role.
· Careful and considerate driver who respects the Highway code.
Hours
Tuesday 8am - midday approx
Approx 4hrs per week
Note role moves to a Wednesday on the appropriate Bank holiday weeks of which you must be available.
Pay:
£13.00 per hour (paid at the end of each calendar month via BACS). Reviewed after 6 weeks.
