Salary: £100 - £180 P/D | £2000 - £3500 P/M Location: Report to Southall Depot Contract Type: Permanent About This Role: There’s more to being a multidrop delivery driver on behalf of our client (The UK’s leading parcel delivery company) than simply sitting behind the wheel. As one of our delivery drivers you’ll be the face of our business for the dozens of diverse customers you meet each day. You’ll work on a shift pattern that covers early mornings (could be as early as 04:30, 06:00 or 07:00) and weekends. Each morning you will be loading your parcels into a sequenced order into the back of your van, numbering them as you scan. Once you have loaded your van you then start delivering to our customers across a designated postcode in London on a strict timed delivery slot basis. All routes are very compact with no more than 1 mile per individual stop. You will receive between 100
• 150 stops per day. The more completed stops the money you earn! Our drivers spend much of their working day on their own but are very much part of our team. Being a delivery driver is a physical role and you could be carrying parcels weighing between 1KG and 25KG. These will need to be delivered to each customer following our delivery process as shown during your training. As part of your role, you’ll be delivering to people’s front doors which can be up or down numerous flights of stairs. If there is no lift, we still guarantee the same service. Ideal Candidate While experience is a bonus for our delivery drivers, we’re more interested in your enthusiasm, friendly personality, and willingness to go the extra mile for our customers. We also ask that you’d be prepared to work whatever the weather. All our drivers will need to follow processes and procedures to ensure customers can track their orders accurately as well as being a pioneer of exceptional customer service and an enjoyable counterpart to customers

• We would expect you to ensure your van van is kept clean and free of damage.

• We pay for all fuel in our vans Requirements: Due to business requirements, you may be expected to work on Easter Sunday, furthermore we are unable to grant any holiday between the 15th of December and the 5th of January, this is due to a holiday ban as it is our busiest time of year. To work as a delivery driver at AMS Couriers, you must be confident behind the wheel of one of our LWB Vans, not have more than six points on your driving license and not have been disqualified from driving within the last 10 years.
