Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and a commitment to providing outstanding service. The Delivery Driver will work closely with warehouse staff to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery vehicles, including vans and lorries, to transport goods to designated locations.

• Load and unload items, ensuring that all products are handled safely and securely.

• Communicate with warehouse personnel regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery confirmations.

• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.

• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

• Assist with heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.

• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safe driving practices is advantageous.

• Experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial for understanding logistics operations.

• Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with team members and customers.

• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as part of the loading and unloading process is required.
