Job brief:
Retail company looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to safely and efficiently distribute items between stores, home office and directly to customers.
Responsibilities:
Deliver a wide variety of items to different locations in the Washington DC and Capital Beltway area
Weekly junk removal / dump runs
Safely load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery van
Follow routes and schedules
Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
All other duties as assigned by management
Requirements and skills:
Experience as a delivery driver
Experience operating a delivery truck or van
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to safely transport fragile materials
Clean driving record
Valid driver’s license
Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of goods
