Delivery Driver

Detailed Work Activities:

The Delivery Driver is responsible to distribute products promptly and safely to our customers by following routes and time schedule. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.

Task Description

The Delivery Driver may assist in the work activities as specified below, but not limited to the following:

Check that equipment meets health and safety regulations

Adhere to all safety signage and PPE requirements

Determine the destinations of goods and most appropriate delivery routes and make on time deliveries

Assist with loading to ensure goods are arranged for ease of delivery and safely secured to avoid damage

Verify loading documents

Arrange and perform unloading operations and obtaining certification of deliveries

Maintain NTC Wismettac Australia Pty Ltd vehicles in a clean and proper condition

Report vehicle maintenance needs

Park vehicle in a proper designated parking position

Must adhere to traffic laws

Must pay self for any illegal parking fines or traffic infringement

Clean vehicle and surrounding parking areas

Collect payment on delivery if requested and submit all payment you receive from our customers to the Company swiftly upon return to the branch terminal

Contribute to the efficient operation of the warehouse by providing labor support for the branch office; perform a range of general and specific warehouse task, such as assembling, loading and unloading products as well as other general warehouse duties

Undertake any other duties as requested by the Company
