Exciting Opportunity for Reliable Electric Bike Drivers / Storage Operatives
Position: Storage Operative / Delivery Driver
Location: Covent Garden / Soho
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: £12/hour
Shifts: 5 days per week, including weekends (06:00 AM 03:00 PM)

Due to exciting business expansion, this bakery is running two locations and a small storage area and is currently seeking dedicated drivers and storage operatives to assist with deliveries and maintain an organised warehouse environment.
Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the storage, supply, and delivery of frozen food and packaging products between bakery shops and storage facilities. This full-time position offers an early start and requires a proactive individual with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage tasks independently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive Deliveries: Efficiently manage incoming food and packaging products.
• Maintain Order: Keep the storage area organised, ensuring proper stock rotation and inventory control.
• Deliver Supplies: Use an electric bike to prepare and deliver supplies between bakery locations (approximately 15 minutes apart).
• Ensure Cleanliness: Maintain a clean storage area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with Stock Checks: Conduct periodic inventory assessments.
• Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with bakery staff to ensure timely and accurate supply of products.
• Maintain Equipment: Keep the electric bike clean and in good working condition for deliveries.
Key Requirements:
• Previous experience as a warehouse operative or in a similar environment is preferred.
• Ability to work early morning hours.
• Reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of organisation and attention to detail.
• Comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting and transporting goods.
• Ability to ride and maintain an electric bike
• Driving Licence, B Category, with experience driving on a busy Central London Roads
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
• A positive attitude and a team player mentality.
