Job Description
Bhalla Distribution Ltd based in Whangarei is recruiting delivery driver to join our team in One Tree Point. We require experienced drivers with long-term employment opportunities for the right people to grow. Training will be provided.
To be successful you will need:
Ability to work Monday to Sunday depending on workload
Must be reliable
Flexibility with working patterns for day and night shifts
Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
Tasks Include:
determining the destinations of goods and most appropriate delivery routes
manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading
assisting with loading to ensure goods are arranged for ease of delivery and safely secured to avoid damage
verifying loading documents
Making deliveries to the houses
arranging and performing unloading operations and obtaining certification of deliveries
reporting vehicle maintenance needs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 – $25.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
Whangarei, Northland: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Licence/Certification:
Drivers Licence (Preferred)
