We are looking for a good kiwi battler who is as comfortable leaning on a farm gate and talking all things rural as they are in the yard and showroom exploring customer's projects.
Strong relationships are at the heart of what we do. You'll do the leg work that makes things happen for rural producers; in return we'll provide you with a wide range of opportunities to develop skills and help you progress.
Regular hours - paid weekly
Team discount on commencement
Varied role - deliveries, yard & customer service
About the Role
We have an opportunity to join our team of Outdoor Timber Specialists.
Based out of our Retail Store at Cnr Monmouth and State Highway 3, Stratford your duties will include deliveries to site, unloading and loading in accordance with safe operating procedures while maintaining a professional image at all times. When not on the road you will be assisting in store providing great customer service or assisting in the yard as required.
Standard hours of work are Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. Saturday morning is worked on a roster amongst the team.
Skills and Experience
Class 2 Driver Licence required.
While a background in either yard work or truck driving may be an advantage, this may also suit someone who has recently completed their class 2 licence. It will also be important you are you are able to demonstrate:
An ability to match our rural customer dedication and passion to producing and supplying natural products.
Self-motivation and reliability.
Honesty, integrity and a commitment to deliver what you promise.
Ability to converse with and understand our customer base about all things farming.
Being the sort of character that can get on with and relate to a wide range of people.
Physical fitness appropriate for lifting timber/posts with a commitment to safe work practices
A willingness to be trained and learn new skills.
