Responsibilities
The primary functions of a delivery helper are to load, locate job sites, backing, preparing and restoring the job site, stocking materials, preparing the truck for the following day, and maintaining the truck and equipment
Straps and places corners on each load
Tarps load depending on weather conditions
Secures mud, equipment, metal, and pallet on truck
Verifies that each load matches to what is on the invoice and truck
Reconciles any discrepancies with dispatcher
Navigates routes to the job site
Reviews directions, address, and time expected with leadman
Notifies dispatcher if expected arrival time will not be met
Prepares the job sites to be stocked by setting up ramps at the end of truck
Prepares window for booming by placing carpet over window frame
Places wood block behind first sheet against window frame, door frames, plumbing, or etc
Completes pre-stocking routine by checking address on permit before driving off road or unloading truck
Establishes what would be the best course of action to stock each job site
Strive to do the right thing by displaying trust and integrity
Establish and maintain effective working relationships at every level of the organization; invest in building relationships with the Field Operations and Field Support Center team members
Help champion an inclusive working environment by:

Constantly, moving from unloading materials from commercial motor vehicle onto job site
