Introduction:
The Delivery Lead has a broad accountability covering all Engineering releases within the assigned product domain. The role leads a cross-functional team to develop and execute efficient and effective technical delivery plans that meet stakeholder expectations in terms of time, quality and scope. This is accomplished with input from Product Owners, Engineers, and related SMEs who provide input to the technical delivery plans. The role is also a governance function ensuring engineering processes are adhered to as part of the product lifecycle . Works in collaboration with Product Owner, CTO, Solutions Integrity, Service Management and Operational teams to successfully define, plan, test and implement change across Technology and the business. This role is instrumental in continuing the operational success and transformation of services.
What will you be doing
• Leads a multi-disciplined team accountable for technical project planning and delivery including requirement validation, build, test, release and deployment. Manage multiple deliveries at a project and programme level simultaneously. Ensuring ongoing operational capabilities are met and the successful management of services.
• Collaborates closely with the Product Owner to manage and prioritise the overall product backlog, co-ordinates inter-domain dependencies and facilitates elimination of blockers. Ensures that resources within the team are allocated accordingly and that delivery commitments are met.
• Accountable for the foundational management of products including activities such as servicing, updates, planning, design, build, test & release for operational products. Owns and drives forward efficiencies.
• Accountable for ensuring the appropriate level of reporting, visualisation, governance and stakeholder management is in place
