Position Purpose

Under the direct responsibility of the FUNCT&TVL – Finance Division co-Heads.

The Delivery Manager position will add to the needed capacity of the Division to manage the work products/ service delivery aspect as well as needed team and people management required for the significant number of Divisions resources located in CHENNAI.

Context :

WMIS Finance Division in Chennai ISPL is an extension of WMIS IT Hub Finance Division. The Division is responsible of delivering WM Finance program and projects from the Business lines and the Group. Strategic and Key Projects and Program in the Division currently and for the next years are
• Regdata program
• One Financial System (OFS) program
• Assets Technical Obsolescence and Cybersecurity remediation in Finance Division.

Close to 90% of WMIS Finance development activities are in Chennai ISPL today. And for CP2A (a Management and Control application), % of the team is in Chennai ISPL fully in-charge of the project delivery End to End including Project management and Business Analysis activities.

The Delivery Manager is expected to double role as Project Manager for CP2A application, planning and managing the functional and technical releases of the project. Working closely with sponsor, prepare and run the SteerCo.

WMIS Finance Division in Chennai currently comprises of 2 main team.
• CP2A squad: The team in-charge of the Project management, Business analysis, development and delivery for Management and Control application – CP2A.
• WMFU Squad: the team in Chennai is responsible for the Technical delivery activities at present. PM and BA activities are currently in Singapore and Europe and may evolve to be in ISPL in future.

As most of the delivery activities of Finance Division are based in Chennai, we need a seasoned manager who is able to grow the team and the skills and manage the deliveries in a long-term perspective.

DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the delivery of ALL WM Finance projects, by virtue of being the head for development resources that are largely based in Chennai (India), as per project backlog agreed with global project manager, Product Owner and Co-division head(s)
• Provide technical and functional leadership and take end-to-end global responsibility of delivering critical work streams . These deliveries include but not limited to CP2A A2L migration, WMFU deliveries for Regdata program and OFS program, Technical obsolescence and cybersecurity remediation of WM Finance Assets.
• Enforce the use of standard methodologies for the product build and transition phases. Be an agile champion.
• Establish and enforce the protocols and governance applicable for delivery management. Ensure effective/efficient collaboration with internal (with the Division) and external stakeholders (e.g. Application Integration Team, Environment managers, etc.)
• Ensure engineering best practices are applied and plan initiatives to improve the practices.
• Achieve customer satisfaction by ensuring deliveries timelines are met within budget and with good quality.
• Responsible for the on-boarding, recruitment of talents required by the Division; to ensure key skills are covered

Responsible in coordination with Chennai Vendor Management for the Division resource needs.

As Team Manager (for all India resources of Finance Division)
• Understand the concerns or impediments faced by the resources in India and raise timely alert to co-Division Head/Domain Head.
• Provide mentoring and oversight to all divisions resources based in India.
• Mitigate bad attrition by constantly engaging the resources and understanding their situation and needs.
• Be a partner in the growth of resources from professional standpoint.
• Manage the yearly appraisal process of his resources in line with ISPL policy

Interactions : As a senior Manager, this position will interact directly with :
• Business Level : Sponsors & Transversal teams, and in particular: CFOs, COO, Operations teams in respective sites, and all other Business representatives who may be connected to Finance assets
• External vendors : For resources, for software
• WMIS (Wealth Management Information Systems organization): all levels from CIO to team members : WM IT Hub (Singapore and Chennai) and WMIS in other locations (Switzerland, Lisbon, Paris, etc) Engineering, Infrastructure and Production teams Strategy & Architecture IT Security Global Project Management Office (PMO) Control & Finance

Specific Qualifications (if required)
• Minimum 10 years relevant end-to-end Service Delivery ( for Project and Support ) Management related experience working on financial institutions preferably Wealth Management related.
• At least 5 years of experience of end to end Delivery management with teams at least 25/30 FTE grouping variety of profiles : Proxy Product Owner Functional and technical BA Tech Lead Solutions/technical architect Developers Testers
• At least 5 years of experience in team management dedicated to end-to-end delivery of Finance solutions within Banking Industry : Management and Control Finance regulatory reporting Finance Group reporting
• Strong technical background knowledge coming from previous technical development experience. Data Warehousing conception and development : ORACLE, Post Gres, SQL server,.. Java BI and Data Viz tooling ( BI4, Power BI, Tableau,..)
• Ideally, experience within BNP Paribas IT with other BNPP entities ( CIB, PF, CDO Office,..) than WM regarding Finance applications and solution delivery
• PMP certification or equivalent preferred
