Seeking for a full time staff to join our fast growing dynamic team.

Simply Seated is an event hire company, specializing in furniture and décor for weddings and events in Sydney, greater NSW, Melbourne and Brisbane.

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and professional Event Crew Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. This role involves the transportation, delivery, setup, and pack-down of event hire equipment at various locations. You will work closely with event crew members, ensuring equipment is delivered safely, on time, and installed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive company trucks (from Medium and Large vans/trucks) to deliver and collect event hire equipment across various locations.

Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently with the crew.

Set up and dismantle event infrastructure such as stages, furniture, flooring, lighting, etc.

Follow delivery schedules and routes as directed by logistics/operations teams.

Maintain the cleanliness and operational condition of the vehicle.

Ensure all items are handled carefully to avoid damage.

Communicate professionally with clients and onsite contacts.

Assist with warehouse duties when not on the road, including inventory checks, equipment cleaning, and general maintenance.

Adhere to all health and safety procedures and road regulations.

What You Bring:

Valid Australian driver’s license class C

Proven experience in driving medium to large commercial vehicles.

Forklift license (preferred but not essential).

Physically fit and capable of manual handling/heavy lifting.

Flexible with working hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Excellent punctuality and time management.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Experience in events, construction, or logistics is highly desirable.

You may also need to perform quality control checks, supervise delivery and returns at the warehouse as well as clean and repair stock from time to time.

Warehouse located in Leichhardt, close to amenities such as bus stops, stations and shops.

Pay: $32.00 – $37.00 per hour
