Role: Sr. Software Engineer
Locations: India
Who are we looking for?
Sr Software Engineer: 6-8 years of experience in software development.
Technical Skills
Writing and testing code in languages such as C++, JavaScript, and Python
Participating in code reviews and collaborating with other developers and teams
Prefer Chromium Open source project development experience
Debugging and fixing issues in the browser codebase
Implementing new features and optimizations to improve browser performance and user experience
Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in web technologies and standards
Good technical knowledge of Windows and Windows software
Developing automation tests to test the code
Excellent technical communication skills - especially related to describing complex issues and submitting detailed issue reports that are actionable by the engineering team
Self-motivation - completes work without constant oversight
The following is not mandatory, but would be a plus:
Working with the Chromium community to prioritize and address issues and bugs reported by users
Contributing to the open-source Chromium project through code commits, documentation, and community engagement.
Behavioral Skills
Requires flexibility, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Should possess very good communication, problem-solving, adaptability, attention to detail, and collaboration skills.
Qualification
Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent.
