Aspire Systems, Inc has openings for Demandware Developers at our office in Irving, TX. In this position you will help our customers in ecommerce implementations and support them on Demandware platform.
Responsibilities:
• Full lifecycle of a implementation including complete technical diagraming, technical specifications
• Demandware subject matter expert beyond the basic certification, but to include significant project experience and share knowledge with the team
• Mentor and grow newer, less experienced developers on the team.
• You will also be asked to participate in internal process improvements, quality control and efficiency measures
• This position requires a strong coder who is able to work under their own initiative and has experience building modular content management systems and e-commerce applications.
• The ideal candidate should have hands-on development experience who should also be comfortable dealing with customers, but this will not be the core focus of this role. Participating in the review of business requirements and functional specifications providing analysis and feedback
• Delivering software code that is built to scope and within the agreed upon goals
• Providing day-to-day support, troubleshooting and bug fixing for our existing clients
Skills:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in eCOM / Demandware.
• Mastery of ecommerce implementation and/or support specifically on Demandware platform.
• Certified developer on Demandware would be big plus.
• Strong Knowledge of JavaScript, Java SDK development, PERL, WebDAV and other web server based application coding technologies.
• Good understanding of DevOps concepts.
• Good understanding of object oriented programming, relational databases and build script
• Knowledge in the areas of custom software development (Java Web development experience); OO Design Patterns; Web Services, middleware and messaging technologies (MQ Series, JMS).
• Proven ability to communicate, facilitate and lead technical discussions with senior level personnel, and gain buy-in from groups ranging from Solutions Architecture, Project Management, Sustainability, Infrastructure and Business
Educational Requirement:
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field of study
