Job Description
Due to the significant demand for our services we are looking to engage additional workers for both permanent part time and casual on call roles.
All applicants must hold at least a Certificate IV in Aged Care or Disability (or equivalent) and have a strong desire to work with people living with dementia. People with relevant experience and ongoing education in dementia care are encouraged to apply. Nursing and allied health students are also encouraged to apply.
The role is a combination of personal care work, social activities and household tasks including cleaning, laundry and food preparation. We require all staff to display flexibility and a willingness to engage with our guests to enable them to live their lives as they wish. Our homes are managed by a full time Registered Nurse.
Ongoing professional development is an expected part of this position and you will be enabled to complete ongoing education. All staff must complete specialist training in dementia care and advanced first aid.
