Job Description
The Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) – South Indian Section assists in the day-to-day operations of the South Indian kitchen and supports the Chef de Partie in preparing authentic dishes such as dosas, idlis, vadas, uttapams, sambhar, rasam, chutneys, curries, and rice varieties while maintaining consistent taste and quality. The role includes handling assigned mise-en-place, ensuring timely preparation and service, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene as per food safety and FSSAI standards, and following standard recipes and portion controls. The DCDP is responsible for supervising commis staff when required, coordinating with other kitchen sections for smooth operations, assisting in inventory control and requisitions, minimizing food wastage, and maintaining discipline, efficiency, and kitchen SOPs at all times.
