Senior Chef required with hands on experience of Multicusine dishes for a School canteen based in south Delhi with sound cooking skills and kitchen management skills. Experience of Bulk cooking and kitchen operations Good Communicator and innovative persona Integrity and Discipline is a must Should be able to train and guide the team Open to new ideas and work under pressure Responsibilities and Duties Preparing (misa) and cooking dishes within the Menu format Operate the Restaurant management system and keep a check on key parameters. develop new dishes and menus Ensuring high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety Take care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by the superiors to meet the standard and the quality set by the Restaurant. Coordinates daily tasks and guide the kitchen team Able to estimate the daily production needs and checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met. Ensure that the production, preparation, presentation and delivery of food are of the highest quality at all times. Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation. Personally responsible for hygiene, safety and correct use of equipment and utensils. Ability to produce own work in accordance with a deadline and to assist and encourage others in achieving this aim. Checks periodically expiry dates and proper storage of food items. Consults daily with supervisor on the daily requirements, functions and also about any last minute events. Carry out any other duties as required by management. Key Skills Cooking ,Grilling,Knowledge of Indian and continental dishes, Knowledge of beverages and shakes.
